ROLAND AND BERT HAVE ADVENTURES PT 1

thelastgunslinger[Steven King can't keep everything out forever. The singers of Gan may keep the keystone world safe, keep it entertained, but he's not the only one and sometimes ... things fall through the cracks.
Roland won aye. Won in the end and here is his reward burdened only with the memories that he has gained in his fight but age, weariness...stripped away. An old man's mind, a young man's form.
But as his friends could tell you, that was no different from how Roland had always been -save that he had a tendency to be mistaken for adults anyway.
Again nothing new.
Tonight Alain, Susan, and the others were absent and Bert- who had taken to this world like a duck to water had dragged him in front of the television set, promptly explained it, held his hand through the majority of the more interesting programming (not to mention turning it on.) and offered Roland pizza and soda- the apparent drink of "Individuals their age."
He'd had Pepsi. Loved pepsi. Coke was...]
They had no pepsi? [Dominos was clearly a failure. Roland sniffed at pizza and drink both.] And thee brought no beer.
